Live.Laugh.Love

What is the main point and focus in life? Is it to be the best that we can be? To be the best that others want us to be? All of these questions are of course, both rhetorical and subjective. There is no right or wrong answer, and each answer is dependant on the self. We set ourselves many goals, usually higher than what we are actually capable of achieving. When we fail, should we dwell on this and attempt to improve it for the sake of ourselves, or for the sake of others? Do we have the right to judge other people and the decisions which they make in life, no matter how small or large they may appear?

Yes, there are lots of questions here, and they are all randomly formed from my tiny brain, but I believe that they are each relevant. I think that goals which we set for ourselves shouldn't be based on what others want us to do, or what they expect of us, but rather what we want to do ourselves. Sometimes, we feel the pressure from our parents and others to do well with things such as University, because we feel the pressure which they can place on us and the high expectations that they have. In truth, don't these expectations just make us even more anxious and really doubt what we believe our true potentials to be?

If you are like myself, and have failed exams before, then you may know how it feels when people who you know don't appear to be as proud of you as they would have been were you to succeed with flying colours in the exam. If you tried your best; it was the best that you could do, then that's what matters the most. I believe that the one who tried and failed, is more successful than the one who did not try and succeeded. The whole pressure thing that we often get leads us to doubt ourselves, which has no good effect on our self esteems in relation to work.

I'm pretty sure that at the end of the day, we don't have the right to place pressure on the ones that we love, or to be judgemental towards those who do not appear to do as well in comparision to others. The most loving thing that one can do, is to be understand and more reassuring towards those who are maybe feeling a little anxious about their work, or any other stresses in life.

'All you need is love'
Once again, this blog probably doesn't make any sense at all. It's only a quick write down of what my brain thinks. To myself, the main aim in life is to live it to the fullest, don't give a shit about what other people think. As long as you try to be the best person that you can be, that is what counts. Yes, there are days where we all feel gloomy and down in the dumps, this is purely acceptable. Just remember that                                         'All you need is love.'
